Croton – It needs bright sunlight, and for that we kept it outdoor, for sometime, only to realise later that it has snowed, and our plant was outside, exposed!
SubhanAllah! only in a matter of few moments the beautiful croton is like almost all crushed!
Being in bright light (grace) is also a nai’mah, but things can be otherwise in a spur of the moment.
We might think we are enjoying the bright, sunny light but we don’t know at what point of time in life it might become cold for us to unbear.
This is life, so uncertain.
It reminded me of the dua which we should be making-
“O Allah! I seek refuge in You against the disappearance of Your blessing, and from the loss of good health, the suddenness of
Your punishment, and all that which displeases You.”
May Allah swt allow us to enjoy His light with no sudden, unexpected changes which might bring our destruction.
Ameen.
P.S – Plz ignore the dust near the staircase, I know by writing this, I am just drawing more attention over there.
