SubhanAllah! The beautiful hadees struck me –
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
“No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.”
I was thinking it was just a minor cut, but I will be rewarded for this as well, as some of my sins will be forgiven due to this.
This is Islam, the beautiful deen, it gives ajr (reward) like expiation of sins, even on small sufferings like a prick of a thorn or even minor cuts.
I was wondering about those who are tested with severe diseases like cancer, trigeminal neuralgia and other such illnesses, or big calamities, or hurt, sadnesses that how subhanAllah
Allah Al-Wahaab is going to bless them all by forgiving them all, and by elevating their ranks on their endurance, for thinking well of Allah, for their sabr.
This life is too temporary, the time spent here even if it is hundred years (which is not an average life span these days)
should not deceive us, a person might be suffering heavily because Allah Al-Hakeem (The Most Wise) wants his/her ranks to be elevated beyond imagination.
May Allah Al- Mujeeb make it easy for all, save us from heavy trials, and elevate those who are enduring it all for His sake.
Next time, if you see a person suffering, be it from a disease or anything, tell them this beautiful hadees so that they think well of Allah, Allah Al Azeem has Himself told us in a hadees e qudsi – that He is as His servant thinks of Him.
