SubhanAllah! Went for a casual walk and witnessed from spooky spiders to ghost skeletons, pumpkins to spiders’ webs.
Was wondering how rigorously they celebrate halloween in the west, but then I was reminded how halloween is getting celebrated even in “muslim countries,” especially “Saudia” Arab.
Halloween is said to have roots from occult beliefs, and obviously not allowed in Islam. The pictures and videos are terrifying, but what I find the scariest are not the frightening masks they are wearing right now in the name of fun, diversity or whatever, to me, what is horrific are the realities which they have manipulated well, all in the name of Islam.
They have built this strong narrative that it is against Islam that you criticize a ruler and obedience is the only way forward even if it is all open tyranny and ruling by what Allah swt has not revealed in all spheres!
عَلَى الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ السَّمْعُ وَالطَّاعَةُ فِيمَا أَحَبَّ وَكَرِهَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُؤْمَرَ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ فَإِنْ أُمِرَ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ فَلاَ سَمْعَ وَلاَ طَاعَةَ
It is a duty upon a Muslim man to listen and obey authorities, whether he likes it or not, unless they command sinful disobedience. If they command sinful disobedience, then there is no listening or obedience to them.
