The top written quote in urdu (faasley rakhey warna pyar hojaayga sachchi mein) which translates as – “keep distance otherwise there will be love in reality” is actually true to some extent. In Islam too, we are advised to maintain a distance from na mahrams, otherwise it will lead to unnecessary infatuations and attractions. I will rather use the term and say attraction and infatuation, rather than love because love cannot happen before marriage, it can only happen after marriage when the two different, imperfect individuals, help, support, and care for each other in the ups and downs of life giving it the form of muwaddah, love!
