Lesson we still strive to imbibe

Isa was not well, so thought of engaging him in some games.
As we started the game, I tried to play in a way to make him victorious.
But then, I realised, that no doubt I am playing with him right now to soothe him and to engage him but he should learn even through these small games that life is tough and you are bound to face the defeat, and the victory lies in knowing that we can fall and fail but that’s okay as far as one learn the lessons and try to make the best out of it and strive for another win.
I, then played honestly with him, that’s a different thing that I lost the win ๐Ÿ˜Š

mashaAllah he was overwhelmed to be triumphant but he felt bad for me as well, he tried to comfort me with words very similar I thought I will use when he will lose the game ๐Ÿ˜Š SubhanAllah!
Allah swt has His own ways.
May he be always victorious and may he imbibe the words he conveyed me today.

Being parents it is important that we teach our kids to stand steadfast when they endure the unexpected but perhaps, somewhere the tables get turn to make us realise that somewhere we are still the ones who are still struggling the same lessons we think to pass on easily.

May Allah swt make things easy for us all.
