Said a woman from shaheen bagh to me when I asked her ke aj bhi aayi hai ap, itni threats ke baad? First she responded “ap bhi to aayi with jilbab and hijab” then she expressed further.
“We are not afraid at all, dekhiye maut to aani hai, apne haqq ke liye, apni pehchan ke saath, Allah swt par emaan hai hame, burqey pehankar hum is protest mein aaye hai, aj bhi, ba’wajood ke bhout dhamkiya milrahi hai shaheen bagh ko aj, maut aayi to shaheed hi honge, lekin darengey nahi. Koi nahi Allah ke siwa.”
I wanted to record her but then she said, “ap type karke message aagey bhejdijiye behtar hame direct record na karey, ye viral hua to media video ko distort kardeyga, jaise ke karta araha hai.”
And I agreed with her fully and respect her concern. Jab system itna corrupt ho to apni hifaazat in maslo par bhi karni padegi.
