What peace can one expect from mischief -makers?

When Donald Trump unveiled his so-called “Deal of the Century,” branding it as the ultimate “peace plan” for Palestine and Israel, it was immediately clear, this was not a peace deal. It was a political contract drafted in Washington and Tel Aviv, designed to legitimize occupation under the guise of peace.

Trump’s plan,
authorizes injustice by legitimizing illegal settlements.
Strips Palestinians of their rights, with no real liberation.

A peace plan that establishes oppression is not peace. In Islam, peace without justice is meaningless, it is surrender to injustice!

Even more troubling than Trump’s proposal is the chorus of so called Muslim governments getting along. The following countries issued a joint statement by their foreign ministers welcoming Trump’s plan, saying they are ready to work with the U.S. and relevant parties toward its implementation. They are-
Pakistan, Jordan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Türkiye, Indonesia , Qatar , Saudi Arabia and Egypt!

One wonders Why? and Why?

The reasons are obvious.
Fear of losing U.S. backing, many regimes rely on Washington for their security and survival.

Economic greed, aligning with the U.S. and Israel opens doors to business, arms deals, and international legitimacy.

Authoritarian shortsightedness- Leaders care more about staying in power than about representing the Muslim ummah’s interests.

This backing is not just political betrayal, it is moral bankruptcy. These governments are gambling with the legacy of Al-Quds, a city that belongs not only to Palestinians, but to the entire Muslim world. But what else can we expect from those who do not rule by what Allah Al-Hakam has revealed?

Trump’s “peace plan” was less about peace and more about reshaping Middle Eastern politics. Legitimizing allies, by rewarding compliant Muslim leaders.
Shifting the focus away from justice, the narrative becomes about “prosperity packages” rather than stolen land and displaced people.

Once Muslim countries are in alignment with the so called peace plan of Trump, any voice of dissent becomes “radicalism” rather than legitimate concern or criticism.

The tragedy is that instead of resisting this agenda, many Muslim governments are aligning with it, leaving ordinary Muslims across the world disillusioned in the garb of “hikmah (maslehat)”

Let’s not forget Trump had a huge evangelical Christian voter base in the U.S. Evangelicals view Israel’s dominance over Jerusalem as part of biblical prophecy, so supporting Israel to the maximum extent played well with them. He also wanted to secure the strong backing of the pro-Israel lobby.
Also, the plan allowed Trump to distract from domestic scandals and political problems at home. A foreign policy move always creates headlines and can sideline the accountability and criticism at homeland.

And yes, Let’s not forget to talk about the dramatic call which was set up by Trump in the Oval Office, with Netanyahu essentially reading from a script as an “apology” to Qatar. We all know that Qatar hosts the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East called Al-Udeid Air Base, (yes, read it again in case you are unaware of it) which is also the biggest U.S. airbase outside of American soil. It’s not just big, it’s the nerve center for U.S. operations across the entire Middle East. That makes Qatar strategically essential to Washington, no matter how much political drama unfolds.
So! Yeah Trump had to do the drama along with Netanyahu of “apologies.”

SubhanAllah! Qatar took a strike on its own soil, six dead, their honour trampled, and yet accepted a staged “sorry” as if that has compensated the spilled blood.

From an Islamic standpoint, that even raises the question of gheerah (protective dignity). Where is the honor in letting an outside power violate your land, kill your people, and then reduce it to a PR apology staged in Washington?

But yeah! What else can we expect?

Israel needs the U.S. not just for military aid but also for diplomatic cover at the U.N.
So when we see “apologies drama” then it is all theater.

Everyone’s playing chess with the public while behind closed doors, it is entirely about selfish benefits revolving around power alone with no welfare of the masses.
