Alhamdulilah, have captured this image in Malaysia back then, and while scrolling randomly in the photo gallery came across this image which beautifully depicts a railway track cutting through a lush, green hillside, leading into a tunnel, a dark tunnel, as if symbolizing the unknown aspects of life. Sometimes, we cannot see what lies ahead, but just as passengers trust the driver to take them safely through, we must trust more Allah Al-Hakeem (The All Wise) in our life journey, in our dark tunnels of life.
“…And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for them.”
(Holy Qur’an 65:3)
It is also noteworthy, the fences around the track resemble the limits set for protection. SubhanAllah! There are fences, limits, boundaries set by Allah Al-Aleem, The All Knowing, Who knows what’s best for us, and what not! But out of ignorance or arrogance, some people consider those set boundaries as “outdated things, backward” not realising that they are befooling themselves while thinking they are the “smart ones.”
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُوا۟ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ ١٣
“And when they are told, “Believe as others believe,” they reply, “Will we believe as the fools believe?” Indeed, it is they who are fools, but they do not know.”
(Holy Quran 2.13)
SubhanAllah! There are signs all around us, only if we try to understand them.
