AllahuAkbar! This news is so heartbreaking.
According to the complaint, wealthy Italians (and possibly others) allegedly paid Bosnian Serb forces during the 1992–1996 Siege of Sarajevo to take them to sniper positions around the city, so they could shoot at civilians. 
Reports say participants paid up to €100,000 (in today’s money) to take part. 
Allegedly, there was a price list for different victims. Children the most expensive, then men, women, elderly people might’ve been free to target. They have turned this into real life entertainment!
Years ago, I watched a series called Squid Game, and even knowing it was purely fiction, I couldn’t sleep afterward. The series got my nerve, not because of the drama or suspense alone, but because it has depicted the cruelty of a system that exploit humans, turning people’s lives into tools for entertainment and mere profit.
Today, reading this news about the alleged Sarajevo sniper safaris, memories of Squid Game came back but this time with a chilling reality.
AllahuAkbar! Real people, real lives, were allegedly hunted for sport and entertainment. The same haunting themes of exploitation, dehumanization, and moral collapse played out not on a screen, but on the streets of a city under siege.
