Alhamdulillah! I was shown this beautiful flower blooming near our home’s vicinity, and was told that it is Day Lily, and it blooms only for one day.
Yes, The life span is one day only.
Such a beautiful bloom subhanAllah, but what’s truly fascinating is that it blooms so beautifully, and wholly even for just a day.
SubhanAllah! Allah Al-Khaaliq’s beautiful takhleeq- One day’s life and yet in that one day this beautiful flower has bloomed fully. Just wholeness, offered entirely, in the limited time it was given.
Day Lily flower somewhere reminded me of companion Sa’ad ibn Muadh r.a who lived short (Around 5 years or even less into Islam) and bloomed so beautifully and wholly, and served his (r.a) role so well that even The Throne of Allah Ar-Rahman’s shook on his (r.a) death- A type of Divine Honour from Allah Al-A’zeem.
May Allah Al-Wahaab (The Bestower of gifts) bless us as well with the izza, honour of living our lives wholly, and blooming beautifully as per His commands.
