تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكُمْ
“May Allah accept it from us and from you.”
Yet again, this Eid – we greet each other with prayers and pain in our hearts. And that is exactly as it should be. Because the pain you feel right now, even in the middle of celebrations, for every land where our brothers and sisters cannot look up at an Eid sky without fear – that ache, that pain is not weakness. It is proof that your heart is still alive, still beating, still bound to the body of this blessed and beautiful ummah, in light of this hadees.
“The believers, in their love, mercy, and compassion for one another, are like one body, when one limb suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.”
SubhanAllah! You are living this hadith. Your restlessness is sunnah. Your pain is iman. Do not numb it, do not silence it. Let it move you to diagnose the real cause of pain, and to find the real solution for it, in light of the seerah of the Prophet ﷺ.
May this Eid be the last our ummah spends under the weight of tyranny. And may the next find us walking with heads lifted beneath the shade of Allah (ظِلِّ اللهِ) – The Most Just, Al-A’dl – where no oppressor’s reach extends, and no child falls asleep in fear.
Until that day, we do not despair. Despair is not the sunnah. Hope is. Striving in the light of Islam is.
Eid mubarak to the blessed and beautiful ummah of the Prophet ﷺ.
