Alhamdulillah! The other day, Isa gifted me this beautiful fallen leaf.
…And I was somehow reminded of
The Holy Quran’s ayah – that not a single leaf falls without Allah Al-Aleem’s knowledge.
“And with Him are the keys of the unseen… and not a leaf falls but that He knows it.”
Surah Al-An‘am (6:59)
SubhanAllah! When Allah Al-Aleem (The All-Knowing) says “not a leaf falls but that He knows it,” He (swt) is teaching us that His knowledge is reaching into every detail of creation. If even the fall of a single leaf which is so silent, unnoticed, and seemingly insignificant, is recorded in His perfect knowledge, what then of you and me? The beings He, Al-Azeem created with intention, intellect, emotion, and a soul?
He knows every leaf that drifts in the wind, and He surely knows, every tear that falls from your eyes, even before it drops.
Every sigh of your heart, even when you cannot put it into words.
Every struggle, every moment you hold yourself together when you could’ve fallen apart.
The purpose of all that is not to make you or me suffer but to transform the pain into purpose of being close to Him, Al-Lateef, Al-Khabeer!
